I noticed that there is the RPD rocker gear.

How does this make it so that you wont have to use shims?

I know RPD dont exist anymore but can you still get these?

Any one got pics of the rocker gear?

Ben

its just the standard rocker gear with a few mm shaved off the bottom to counteract the need for shims.

really just just work the opposite of putting shim in.

by putting shims in it raises the outside of the rocker arm, bringing the rollers back to touch the cam.

but shaving the gear down the whole gear just drops down lower, in effect not effecting the geometry of the arm etc.
