Has any fella's got the R6 cam fitted? Have you had a dyno run with it fitted yet? I'm curious to see how it performs as I'm upgrading from R3 to the R6 very shortly.

...isn't the R6 meant to be an R3 for auto?

R3 to R6 isn't an upgrade... I'd say the R3 has more balls up top and the R6 has it more spread out in the middle and down low.

Yes the R3 is for the manual and works well with high rpm, but I got the auto so the R6 will suit it better because it comes on at about 2000rpm and eases off at 5200 perfect for me. Once the R6 is fitted and also the RPD headers instead of the crap JMM headers im running now, then dyno run it hopefully before Xmas if not early January, I'll post up the results.

had a dyno run and they choke the engine at 4000rpm, jay (RPD) measured them and we worked out that the diameter was too small to make decent power from them

EF XR6, I was going to trade RPD the R3 for the R6 talk to Jay he'll probably post it to you once he checks it out to make sure its in good condition, I've only done 2500km since Jay fitted it for me so its still fairly new
