Hi guys
I need to start and move a car with manual steering box but has an engine in it with a power steering pump not connected. Does the pump make the pressure or the power steering box? I was hoping to loop the out feed back into the return pipe. Its an EL motor in XF project and havent sourced a power steering box for it yet. Thanks |

How far do you want to move it. Running a Power steering pump with no oil will stuff it pretty quick.

It might be OK if as you suggested hook up the pressure output line via a loop back into the low pressure return.
At least that way the pump would have oil in it. Can only give it a go. Cheers BenJ
