i just rebuilt the top end of my eb fairmont and started it up for the first time in 2 months just over a week ago and even after it running for a length of time it still smelt like alot of fuel was running through the system any checks i could make to be sure?? i dont wanna have to be doing anymore repairs after i just spent over $2500 on it just to get it up and running its always ran rich but never like this or could it just be the falcons way of running lol

check to see if the vacuum hose from the manifold to the map sensor is connected.

would having a gas setup affect it? the only vacuum hose i can see goes to a solidoid for a breather pretty much for my converter where is the map sensor? so i can check the lines

the map sensor is on the firewall on the passenger side just above the manifold

alright ill check it thanks mate just got to get the god damn thing running again my fuel pump and my gas arent working at all now no power to them everything else works tho cant find no relays stuffed or any fuses broken im stumped

has it got smartlock? if so try chuckin a new battery in ya key ring button thingo. i had a similar problem with no fuel pump or anything working so i chucked a new little battery in the key ring and it worked like a charm.

na aint got smart lock jst aftermarket keyless but not connected and was just a relay for my fuel pump so got 2 incase it happens again hahaha
