Hey guys, any of you no of a problem i am having??

My car is a 1991 EAII 5sp MPFI...

Its running rich, and i not sure how to rectify this, have not taken it any where yet, thought i would try forums.

The car is very jerky around low revs, (in traffic) and outside the car smells like roten eggs, or those f@rt bombs....

And its not the fuel, thats what i thought, then i changed.. Its been going on for about 4 or 5 months now.

Any help much appreciated.

That rotten sulphur smell can be caused by a cat, maybe its become partially blocked.

hmm, well the new cat will be producing that smell as it seems your car is running rich. A likely culprit could be the oxygen sensor.

Check the oxy sensor first...Then have a look at your map sensor..(doubtful) and maybe the coolent sensor.

Yer i doubt very much it would be the MAP sensor, but am also very doubtfull about the 02 sensor, this was replaced about 18 months ago, so i guess i should look at the coolant sensor, i might check the voltages, does any one no what they should be with out reading the manual??

Thanks alot. Is there any other maybe's i should be checking??

Cheers
