I'm getting a RWC for the EF and am wondering if the K&N pod filter I have in the air box would be accepted or will I need to put a stocko panel filter in the pass the rwc?

If it is in the factory box, i can't see it being a problem.

Had many Cars ,friends and Mine RWC'd TO pass a RWC with a podfilter, doesn't matter if its boxed or not, as long as its fixed down to the car and not floating around in the engine bay hope this helps - Ash

Heat shields that cover like half of it dont count either. |

Do you know this for sure through vic roads? Cheers -ASh

y havb a pod filter in a normal airbo defeats the purpose of having a pod filter in the first place

pods for sure need to be in a box. pods can flow better than a panel, combine this with a fat intake and you have the potential for more air.

rofl, you are clueless. Tell me what is the point of having an pod without an airbox? If your aim is to increase fuel consumption and decrease performance, then I understand. Hot air is bad mkay. |

Hot air is bad mkay. maybe your right, but ive had mine exposed for ages now, with a massive cai from the front brake duct, and it runs cooler than it ever did boxed. If you sit in traffic everyday i would say box it but just for normal driving its fine...with the right mods
