Hey guys, was watching speedweek this arvo and was surprised to see 6 cylinder au's racing against v6 vt's..
has anyone got any info on what setup these guys use? |

au fortes dressed up to look like an xr, live axle only, power is around the 220rwkw mark and its a very controled series. the only time ive seen the commos do any good is in the wet because of their irs advantage. I googled them a while ago and read up on the specs, cant remember much now but.

so they're pretty much road cars with mods?
weight is pretty much the same, and going by the rules, the power can't be much more then our street cars? looks like a normal falcon with brake and suspension upgrades with the usual engine mods? |

i was just reading through some of the stuff, it looks like the VT engines can be bored out 40thou and can rev to 6250rpm while the falcon is limited to 5800rpm. They dont use an airbox at aswell

I found a Saloon car specs from an old thread in feb 2008,
