its the air charge temp sensor or (a.c.t sensor)
it measures the air temp of the air flowing through the manifold

Thanks for the valuable input AU2SR, but..

The sensor measures both the intake Air Temperature

AND

Manifold Absolute Pressure

ea to el has the map on the firewall..

AU Tmap sensor

the one under the throttle body is a TMAP sensor

measures both temp and pressure in the one sensor

different from series 1 to series 2-3 as well
S1 has 2 bolts - S2/3 has 1 bolt

hope this clears it up
