No No No
take out the fans get a 3/4" or was it 1/2"? breaker bar and insert into the tensioner. There is a spot for it on the lower pulley. Then just pul on it towards the left side of the car. That easy

yes, but to hold it ford say a 5mm drill bit in a small hole which will keep the tensioner turned for you. I suppose there is more than one way to get a wog drunk, i mean skin a wog, ahh f**k... cat!

man all i did was pull on the top part of the belt then wedge a small nut about 10mm wide in the gap at the tensioner, i didnt need any 3/8 drives or take out the radiator.

You don't have to take out the radiator!

no you dont this way, the reason you have to take it out the other way is so that you can get the ratchet in there!!

You must be using a hell of a large ratchet! all I need to do is remove the fans (1 min job) but I'll tell you what you do it the way you feel most comfortable. I prefer to remove them with the tension taken off

not many ppl have a drive that size and its less than 20 seconds to put a wedge on the tensioner just right to the left bolt after pulling up at the top of the belt, the reson i found this way is cause i didnt have a drive that size so i improvised!

i just replaced both my pulleys, didn't have to remove the fans or radiator and i have no special tools. i just placed a bar between the alternator and the tensoined pulley and placed the belt on the power steer once i had enough slack.
