if you have looked at all the sevicable things and its still a little heavy on fuel, the next thing that comes to mind is that your engine may be tired..???

I've got a Bf MkII, which sits between 3/8ths up the gauge. If it gets to 3 quarters then I'd be worrying. I personally haven't used Nulon oil, I use Mobil because that's what my workshop uses. As for that, according to Mobil techs, Ba's can run 15W-40. We usually use Mobil DMX 15W-40 in Ba's and Bf MkI with a 'Worn Engine' oil additive supplied by Wynns, then the techs say use 5W 30 in Bf mkII and onwards, which we use Mobil Formula S 5W 30. |
