hey guys well ive been bulding up this el motor just come to setting the timing right . ive set the crank and the other sprocket to the timing marks at tdc .
my question is when this is done where should the timing mark on the dizzy be. atm its just past the start mark by 3 cm ish. is this right ? should i move the dizzy a bit so its at the start possition ? ne help would be great guys |

im pretty sure its spose to be on the start mark, ill check and get back.

Crank should be at TDC (put your finger over the plug hole and make sure there's compression when the crank is rotated to this position - otherwise it's on the wrong cycle). Cam sprocket mark should be slightly above horizontal on the passenger side (around 3mm or so).
Dizzy rotor should be on the 'finish' mark, and the TFI plug should face around 60 degrees toward the rear.
