Hey guys, i have a EA and im putting a ef engine in it with a dizzy, how do you set the ignition timing?

In the front kick panel there shoulb be a connecter plug with about 7 or so pins in it, you have to join up two of these and the car shoulb pick up idle, then with a timing light point it down at the balancer and see what the timing is set at. try and find some one with an owners hand book and it should tell you where the factory timing should be set at.

you have to earth out the white with red trace wire. i usually just run a wire from it to the battery -.
then start it. and then set the timing using a timing light
