Would this create the sort of problem like if you were trying to go uphill in the wet or something and needed power, but not firm shifts? Personally I wouldn't do it, I would much prefer have control over both things separately.

Oh sorry, I was replying to this: JT wrote: can't wait to build one of these! I'm thinking of connecting it up to the power button on the auto.. so it turns on the shift kit and moves up the revs!
anyone else do this? Probably should have quoted in the first place. I was saying that if you wired it to the power/eco switch, you would get firm shifts when you may only want power and this could create problems say either when you are towing or maybe going up steep hills in the wet (i.e. you might get wheel spin). |

Anyone got a diagram for the EL V8 kit yet? All I have ever seen is the one for the I6.

The v8 kit is the same as the six kit, except that it goes into the V8 trans ECU, i am on my way to Joes today, and will post up the colour/pin no on th eV8 trans ecu that you have to insert it into

Brett That would be much appreciated if you could mate. Are the EB pinouts the same as what would be in my EL XR8? I am guessing you would just splice it into the appropriate wires running to the TCU near the steering column. Are the resistor values the same as for the six?
