In my EF GLi i have the monroe GT Gas. They are probably the best shocks in Oz. Im really not sure how much they cost because I helped my friend put them in when he owned the car but i think when he got them he did it with a friend with a 10% off thing and payed bout $145/pair for rears and about $220 for front but im unsure bout the price.

Have a look for the model at http://www.monroe.co.au

check ebay for prices, they are better than what you'll pay in shops unless you got a mate in the trade

i think your choice might be simplified, i don't think sensa-tracs can fit lowered springs .. i might be wrong there, but i don't think so

i'd go the sensatrac, cost a bit more but the variable rate of sensatrac would be better i reckon
i have gt gas on mine(got em cheap), they're alright but would have preferred to have gotten the senatracs cheap instead :)

i didn't for mine, i fitted the shocks and drove it to the local tyre dealer to get the wheel alignment checked, one side was out a bit, adjusted to correct and it's all good
