if u want a shorter stick try BPT. If u want a proper shorter shift mechanism, have a look at fordforums.com market place user Hotwire. He is doing a group buy on wicked shifters

I agree with chef, i tried it with a short throw kit with a shortened shifter and it was just too much of a lean to change gears. Much more comfortable and fast with the standard shifter with a short throw kit

I have an original tremec short throw shifter in the car, some people may not be happy with it, but the throw length is about 40% shorter on all changes, I paid $250 I think from Omega motorsport at guildford who sourced it from intune motorsport, I notice the difference, Hyena did not care for it, but most other people who have used it have been impressed, so each to their own on that one.. being an original, it works like magic with the box, there are lots of aftermarket ones out there, the ripshifters do have an issue with binging I have been informed, the herrod ones are filthy expensive and do the same job. the tremec short throw straightens up the shift from 2nd to 3rd as wellso you do not have to run the H pattern but just straight through 2nd to 3rd, speeds up the shift enough that is can be flat changed without backing off the revs on an upshift and just enough clutch to open the gate on a down throw.
