Its got a really quiet rumble with 4480's, stock cat and single muffler... so i got a XR6T 3inch cat sitting at home i gotto modify.. and getting a better muffler... Should sound a little better then |

I wish i could keep that idle sound though with the new exhaust system. |

Make sure your speakers are turned down for this horrible sound that emanates from the exhaust of my rig. 2.5" Manta exhaust, no cat, one straight through muffler *shudder*

Yes, but do you have a cat converter? I was amazed at how much noise those things cut out. Mine used to have a deeper note, but with no cat it tends to sound very 'blatty'. Ahh well, a turbo should fix that right up haha.

I know this is a semi-old thread but i was liking the vids. Just pull my exhaust apart then so all stock standard but with the last small muffler behind the rear wheel gone. A section was repaired a couple of years ago and the weld was dodgy and leaking everywhere so i pulled it out improved the Exhaust note immensely. Love the results but I still need to get a proper 2.5" catback installed. What do you guys think, considering it took about 10mins and didnt cost me a cent

Here's what mine sounds like, sort of. It doesn't sound real good. I used a digital camera, an Optio S10. The exhaust is a homemade one, a modified BMW CAT, twin 2&1/4" to a homemade s/s muffler, then dumps out a 2&1/2" just in front of the diff axle tube.
