Hey guys. New to the site and pretty impressed. Ive got a little problem thats only just started happening. When I take off from a stop I get a weird shudder from what I can hear is coming from under the middle of the car. There is no shudder when driving only when I take off from say an intersection or a stop sign etc. I wanted to know if it may be the auto trans fluid or something? My knowledge of cars is only basic so thought id ask the pros. Cheers

I would check your Rear Gearbox rubber mount, the front tail shaft coupling and your centre bearing Rubber.

I take it that this is a sedan and a 6cyl?

Yeah its a Sedan. Ive never had any issues with it and wanted to do a few modifications when I got the money but this shudder is annoying me to no end. It only seems to happen on take off but when you reach say around 50 to 60 km/h the sound goes away. There have been times when Ive slowed down to around 30 km 40 km for what ever reason and then sped up and I can hear it.

Pretty much any advice, I will be grateful for

If it was the Centre Bearing, how much would that be to replace (as a guess)
Is it an easy job?
