I have got a really bad shuddering at idle in my car when im in drive it gets betta when the revs pick up but is really bad ain drive!!!

I have replaced the fuel pump fuel fulter harmonic balancer and last night changed the injectors but still no change!!! the leads are not that old and i dont belive it would be them causing it because otherwise it would be felt higher in the rev range aswell! i thought it might be the engine mounts but we checked them yesterday and they seem to be ok!

Has any1 else had or got this problem and no what it is?? ive also cleaned out the idle control soleniod and that didnt do anything either!
and help would be great thanks!

Glad to see we are back onboard aswell!

Have you disconnected that battery lately. I disconnected mine for a while, and the computer had reset itslef. When i reconnected it, i knew it would have reset so didi the right thing but it was still running rough, like you said at idle in drive. After about 3 weeks it sorted itself out and runs fine now. Mine was dropping down to like 300rpm and then the comp. would have a splutter and lift it a bit.

Could be that or could be something completely different.

Just a thought,

Sounds like your leads might be at fault.Could possibly your inlet gasket. Also could have a look at the bbm manifold where the larger butterfly is sometimes they wear out the shaft bushing can also give same effect.Just some places to look.

Guys... Have a look at the dates of the first posts... 18 months ago now. I dare say the problem has been solved.

I want to know how he fixed this... because I have the same problem.

Injectors, ISC cleaning, spark plugs and transmission service didn't fix it...was told maybe its the 02 Sensor or the ECU.

Any ideas?

Could also check your a/c compressor bolts make sure they arent loose.Check engine mounts and gearbox mount.
