hi guys.

last week or so, when turning the car on (au2 falc futura) it has shuddered/vibrated quite heavily, but gone on with its usual self. only happened couple of times.

this arvo we installed an amp and sub, everything hooked up properly, car starts fine but when put into reverse or drive, shudders quite abruptley...

took it for a drive, drove fine above 1000rpm, when coming to roundabout, it conked out as i was half way thru. battery light stayed illuminated on the instrument cluster.

we let the engine run for a good 5-10 mins after amp and sub install to charge battery. but yeah, not sure what my problem is here.

what's making the car feel like it wants to cut out when being put in gear or coming to a stop/near stop.

need to figure it out tonight so that i can have it fixed early morning as i need the car.

Check the auto gearbox fluid level. If it's low, check for leaks.

I've had a problem similar to that before. Can't remember what it was or how we fixed it though

Maybe check the compression? A tune would also go a long way IMO

Is it on Gas?

tune? cant tune stock efi mate

by tune he means change sprak plugs leads and adjust the dizzy you can call that a tune
also mate when my red batery lpoped up a few times i found out it was a stuffed alternator

or if you car just shutters when you start it up it might be a broken engine mount
