Hey was just giving my ef a service and went to flush the radiator and found a weird hose clamp is used on the lower radiator hose - how the hell do you get it off.
It looks like the orginal ford one - not one that you can undo with a screw driver or small spanner. help please - i feel like tool asking this question but it's in a hard to get at spot and has me stumped. |

get a small screw driver and pry the cap thing off and its a normal clamp head under it.
i think it was fords way of finding out if some one's messing withthe car under warranty.

msman you were right - I'd never seen one before as all the other little caps must have already been removed already.
Thanks for you help - problem solved |

those small caps on the standard hose clamps were used by ford as a sheer type clamp to get the specified torque during fitting in the production line.
