I have just completed a quite an extesive rebuild on my 6cyl EF, Before and now even after the rebuild I am getting a slight (sometimes quite bad) hesitation while accelerating at roughly 2000rpm then after a couple of seconds it kicks in.
Now I have retained only a few things from the original engine (injectors, inlet manifold, fuel pressure regulator, MAP sensor) but all sensors and electrics (on engine) are new. Fuel Pump is only new aswell. My suspicions are injectors or MAP. Any ideas??

Dont have a Dizzy.. Cheers anyway. uniacidz wrote: Sounds like fun im having. Old original EL XR6 injectors i had, had a small stutter at 2250rpm or so on cold start. Using AU Xr6 injectors, cold start and have a hesitation upon putting foot on accelerator. once its not stone cold car is fine. Go figure. I stopped chasing it. Well its just one of those annoying things I guess.. I will probs swap out the MAP and some other things from my girlfriends EF next weekend and see if I find the issue.
