I have a problem.
Car sitting at idle is pretty well right. 750rpm.
But as soon as you give it a little gas and try to sit at
For example 1200rpm in neutral the engine misses and seems to hunt a few hundred rpm, not severly tho.
I think its a ignition miss. Has new leads, plugs and cap is good. Could a crook coil give a miss.

What you describe sounds like a fuel issue, start with your fuel filter first....

You know I was thinking the same thing. Dunno what changed my mind tho.
My fuel filter is fairly neew. Sub 6 months.
Altho my fuel pump is humming a lovely song to me all the time. Possible that the fuel pump on the way out would cause something like this?
I have driven it at a quarter tank and below quite a lot when I was poorer and didn't know about the dry pump problem.
I've sonic cleaned the injectors about 2 months ago, ones ticking still tho...?

Well. Had a propper look and found the return line on the rail was leaking due to a cracked line.
Also injector 5 had sweet f all pulse, the injector had pulled off the retaining clip and moved into the manifold. So it was leaking around the rail there aswell.
Fixed the surge and explains why I was getting 50-70 ks less per tank.
Thanks
