I have an Au2 o1 xr6, it has an oil leak that appears to be coming from the front pulley on the motor, but on closer inspection i do not suspect that to be the case, could it be coming from the timing chain area? that seems to be the most common fault, it is really hard to tell, when the engine is degreased and clean the oil leak is around the pulley on the front of the motor, but splatter makes it hard to determine exactly. It is definetly engine oil. I am mechanically minded and have fixed most things on this car but i need advise before i start pulling it apart. Thanks

You'll find a couple of the top water pump bolts go straight throught to an oil gallery...try tightening all the 10mm (i think) around the front of the motor there...if you cant get much out of them try removing them & applying some sealant to them.
