hay guys i got a set of new rotors for my car but the drill hols dont go all the way through just
wondering are they ment to and if i drill the hols out will it help in any way or just wreck them |

thats called dimpled holes mate
your better off with dimpled as true drilled will more likely to warp the rotor

Dimpled as mentioned, they still work fine. Drilling them out would almost certainly lead to cracking/hairline fractures. Cross drilled rotors have holes drilled at angles through the plane of the disc making it less likely to, although still susceptible to cracks.
They're just there to stop a cushion of heat/gas forming between the pad and rotor. A few people actually recommend not using cross drilled rotors for street use.

ive got dimpled and slotted from RDA and they are fine
and v8 supercars use just heavily slotted rotors and they would have to be good for them as they glow at times
