Well i dunno what a standard time for one of these things is , but it seems a bit slow to me . My ef xr6 pulled a 15.4 @ 92 at calder and that was with a slipping clutch, the baby seat a boot full of crap and me losing my dragstrip virginity on th night... i'd say get a pro to check over it .. but then opinions are like a***hole .. everyones got one and most of them stink!!!

maybe because it was a hot day or your induction is all screwed up with the porting, cam & extractors. what brand are they anyway?

Maybe your combination is a complete mismatch.

That's weird. Maybe one or more of the mods are screwing up your combo?
I got a gli wagon and it's quicker with just a cam/extractors/exhaust.

Just remember North Queensland gets damn humid up there. more humid and hotter than it gets down in Victoria and NSW:)

kev what's your 60ft time, your 660ft time and your trap speed?
it's auto so wheelspin won't be too much of a problem, but that sounds a little slow for the mods you have.

yeah it is pretty humid up here. of a day it a slug and at night it has a noticeable increase in power. i dnt kno how much power it makes i havnt done a dyno run yet. the motor has done about 14,000ks. the gear box 313,000ks, but still seems to chirp and tourque sidways going into second. and it has standard 3.08 diff gears. and still has trouble with wheel spin off the line and i only stall it to 1500rpm, but then again townsville drags isnt the best track around either. im thinking a set of 3.45's with an lsd, an air/fuel piggyback and a decent all round tune, cos i do a bit of travelling. unless u can get comps with 2 settings to select from(which dnt cost too many $$$) i was also thinking becos the comp is standard, it would only be running standard settings and not able to cope with the mods (extra air etc etc) so is just running rich or something cos i can practically watch the fuel guage move on the highway. but fuel consumption is beside the point. i think it mostly needs a piggyback to clean up the air/fuel and diff gears.

60ft time - 2.411
elapsed time - 15.829
terminal speed - 88.75

sorry i didnt reply sooner, away from home for TAFE.

Hot & humid plus "3.08 diff "

An extra 200 metres & you'll be flying.

yeah that time alone would probably drop if its a bit cooler and less humid. I noticed last Christmas when my falcon was an auto, it was a hell of a lot slower than it is down here in the cooler brissy area.

the trap speed seems to match the elapsed time.
i think it will come down to the diff. how hard are you launching it off the mark? if it wheelspins easily maybe change rear tyres too.
