1996Ford EFI 6 conversion into 88 patrol. I have not attached the bem or ignition but have wired it up to run.I still must wait the 30 minutes before it will start does anyone no a way around this. Can i wire it up to trick the comp or are there other ways or must i put the bem and all the other s**t i dont need back in to the loom................

mate by the sounds of it what it is doing is waiting for a signal or coding from the ignition lock interesting situation thats for sure i would say there has to be a way around it tho it depends what model motor you have in the car if its an eb motor try and grab a pre smartlock ecu otherwise have a chat to an auto electricion see what they think

Fraud spares can sell you a smartlock bypass module, but it ain't cheap (~$300).

Otherwise you'll need a smartlock BEM, and smartlock ignition barrel + key.
