Hey??!! What the?
Who can help with this? 2004 Territory AWD with 126,000 on the clock, running on gas/petrol. When parked on an incline probably greater then 15 degrees and idling for a while, it will smoke a blueish slightly grey smoke & stink!! Not always noticeable until you give it a little rev like it has a gum build up then blows it out the back under throttle. Can sometimes happen on light jerky acceleration on flat ground. Can't find anything about this online. Give me what you know? (service 3000kms ago & i think it does it mostly when on gas, doesn't run flash lube). Thanks Forumers!

Thanks for the reply.
I've asked a few shops including a taxi shop who said they never have done valve/seals/seats. Good point though, that's what i was thinking...

Are you using the right viscosity oil in the car ?
126k should be only just run in on the Ford Barra 6.

The cats on the earlier models were a known issue, could be a similar problem.
There was a recall on them. Problem could be founded there?

Thanks for your responses.
It's running 15W40 synthetic. If it were the cat' why would it be happening so much more on an incline? I'll speak to Ford, see what they say... Anyone heard of these engines getting carbon build up in the rocker covers etc? I could imagine it's doing it cos it wasn't serviced properly by the dealer.
