WRONG. Please do not post when you dont know stuff.

XR6T snorkels DO fit EF/EL Falcons fine.
Just like the AU Tickford snorkel you need to re-drill the mounting holes, but other than that they fit fine. Dont believe me I'll take a picture of mine.

$40 sounds okay, mine was $36/7 3 months ago.

I second that mate! I had an AU3 XR8 snorkel and a BA XR6T snorkel on my EL with no probs.

$40 is about right, wouldn't want to pay much more than that for an XR6T snorkel.

Avoid the AU3 XR8 snorkels unless you find one cheap (or you desperately want the logo), but they generally go for stupid prices.

They fit nicer when you trim about 5 mm off the edge of them.
And quite a few guys have had trouble fitting them to some EL's for some reason.

Mmm forgot to mention I took a nip out of one side of it too, and used the bench grinder to file down the intake until it fit easier and had a smoother lip.

Hmmm were the XR6T snorkels different to the BA Ute V8 snorkels (non-XR8)? Cause I couldn't fit punktured's snorkel on my EL.

phong =P~
