Any E-series cam will require E-series rocker gear while AU requires AU.

E Series and AU rocker gear have different ratios.
As phongus has said, you need to run the matching Cam/Rocker Gear. |

But arnt au heads different to e series i know the valve are different and so are springs and retainers so running ed rocker gear on an au would that not make the vlaves hit pistions?

No. Use the E series rockers on the AU head with the Eseries cam. Use AU Rockers with an AU Cam. Same applies in reverse if fitting to a E Series Head. |
