exhausts are made up in the following order from motor to rear of car;
manifold/extractors > catalytic converter > centre muffler > rear muffler.
depending on your cash situation you have a few options. you could just replace the tailpipe section with a pipe which will give u a little bit extra, or you could spend a bit more and get a 2 1/2" system from the catalytic converter back, or more again and replace the entire system with extractors, a high flow cat, and then the 2 1/2" system

Get yourself a 2 1/2" Lukey cat back exhaust system, much cheaper than the red back... it definately gave my SVO a good kick.
It cost me under $200 for the system and i fitted it myself... you will prob end up paying a bit more, but red back was going to cost me a lot more than lukey.

Dont waste time and money on your old exhaust,look around you can pick up a 2.5inch sports exhaust for between 200 to 400 dollars fitted and you can choose wether you want the rear resonator in the tailpipe.

I paid 290 for a redback 2.5" fitted, so you didn't save much.
