i have the best part of $4500 to spend on a motor upgrade. what ideas do you have not talking bout induction, cams, exhaust, chips or anything like that im talking about the motor itself. Should i upgrade to say a el xr6, au vct, ba 6. not quite sure which dirrection to go in. give me some ideas on pros and cons.

BA XR6T would be nice, tad expensive but. Would be simple to bolt in. Enquiries to FTG (sponsor) if you're interested. Otherwise, I think the AU has the stronger bottom end and rods and pistons?

wot ba xr6t engine aint a simple bolt in will be very expensive more than 4500

au vct will requirean aftermarket ECU that can control the vct so and the k frame eeds to be modified to fit that engine in.

el xr6 motor can be had for a grand wont have muchmore power than what u currently have

I'm with Big Kev on this one ... Stage 4 should get your around the 170-180rwkw mark ... and will be like brand new internally.

Or supercharge it and get more ... hee hee
