Also, this is probably got nothing to do with this but ever since I got a new gasket and the head shaved my cars acceleration has been running to s**t. When I just got this cam installed, the guy told me that, from what I remember, is that one of the rocker arms was broken. Ever since he replaced that the acceleration has been so smooth.
Sorry guys this has nothing to do with this but I'm finally glad after months of trying to find out what the problem is, thats its finally been fixed. I just hope no one else has to deal with a dodgy mechanic also

I've got to say guys, I just had the stage 1 fitted on thursday, I kinda noticed the pick up in it, especially if you pushing it all the way thtrough the rev cycle. But everytime I look down at my speedo now I've realised I've picked up a lot more speed than I actually thought.
I gotta say that Jaysen was very helpful as well so cheers for the help mate. Its running a lot smoother than beforehand

Are you sure you should be pushing it all the way through the rev range.
you just got it installed on thursday, is that right?

yeah thats right but this just for testing, I don't particularly like bringing the rev range up that high, but I was just mentioning that it seemed to pull quite hard while it was up that high

trust me alted gear can be reved high all day..every day..

I ran on the track a few days after my stage 1 was installed it was a beasty little thing took 5 seconds off my PB. the stage 3 that was installed recently that was the ducks guts.. loved to be reved, all the way.. as long as everything is adjusted correctly, and shimmed up, jaysen knows the specs for both and they are all supplied, these things are weapons. bust thing for falcons to date.

being a roller cam there is no run in time. you put it in and drive it.

don't know about you guys but I would rather let it run in first. something about the time, efford & money spend that puts me of from going hard out first time, apart from headers & exhaust.

do you have to shift the rev limiter, or do you leave it at 5750rpm?

Nah, in gear it'll still hit the same 5700rpm or so before spoiling my fun :)
