Have you bought new plugs yet?

Do you have access to a 3/8' or 1/2" drive socket set?

I don't have experience with the covers and plates, maybe just have a look.

You might need to take the crossover pipe, flexible tube and airbox lid off as a complete unit to start, but i'm not sure. These parts go from the throttle body to the airbox (within which the air filter is located).

Ok you moron, let me explain what I meant.

I dont know where or how to access plugs seeing as I cant see them.

I figure if i come on here and post a question i could get someone to explain how to do that.

Not some 5 year old d**k from blacktown come post info about what he's doing with his car.

No one's intrested in your taxi bro.

Your a clown.

For f**k sake you lot calm down.

vega don't get all abusive.

We have a report post function that if you don't like what someone wrote report it don't fire back.

Its really simple.

GTO13F He is obviously a novice at this stuff so unless you know how to change plugs on a BA motor don't aggravate the situation.

No warnings here at the moment but the next time one of you want to flame instant warning. 2 warnings and then its a ban.

Undo the allen key bolts securing the black plastic cover to the top of the motor. Each spark plug has its own coilpack straight on top of the plug (hence no leads), unplug each one as you go then unscrew/replace as any other car. Number 6 is under the window sill and is bit of a bastard to get to. A couple of socket extensions, a angle adapter thing (can't remember what they're called sorry) and a magnet makes it a lot easier to do that particular plug.

Edit: If you have a turbo you'll need to remove the crossover pipe that goes from the air intake/throttle body/turbo/intercooler. On turbo and non-turbo cars you also need to unplug the PCV valve that goes through the plastic cover as well.
