hey, im after a new set of spark plugs and just want a recommendation on which you think would be best for performance and value for money for my fairmont!

it isnt modded much, only exhaust so should i stick with standard ones? ie normal ngk's or go the iridium ones people have been talking about???

Well the Iridiums should last 100,000km's, there also ment to be better. But they cost a lot more. You probably won't notice didly squat difference though when you fit them. But I still bought them.

how much u pay? and where from?

i have an autobarn and repco and autoone close so i will go to each and get a good price

but somewhere to start price wise, so i know how much dosh i need

i got motorcraft denso iridiums myself, they did make a good improvement and i would have to recomend them

I got mine half price, but it goes like that when you work at Repco. I had to order them direct from NGK as we didn't stock them and neither did our warehouses or distributors or anything, or any other Repco stores. I ordered in ones for my motorbike at the same time. Total was like $90 for 8 sparkies, probably closer to $180 if I was paying retail.

Yeah the iridium ones are the way to go...last loads longer and the spark distance on those is meant to be alot shorter depending on which ones you buy....great for guys chasing big HP figures, cause the ignition system should always be modified :wink:

cheapest i could get them for was $130 for the lot!
and no one stocks them, had to order :(
they better be worth it :D
