yes take it to ford and have them hook it up to their computer and then deal with all their questions as to why you'd want to go that fast.
By the way why do you want to go that fast?

yer amusing hay, in the ef ford manual if you have a auto it says "to reduce ware on the gearbox do not excede 180 in 3rd well no worries there cos ya can't, i have a 92 EB and if i hold the pedal to the floor with power on it clicks 190 before changing to 4th i have had the needle off the speedo with a bit of pedal to spare, i used it all not sure how fast i was going but it was F**k fast

Why do you want to go over 180km/h anyway?
Its there for a reason... |

Standard tailshaft does not like going over 180!
You want to go faster then 180 with it? Your call... I just never felt the need to go pole vaulting in my car. And unless your hitting the limiter before the end of the quarter mile (In an N/A 6? HA), or maxing out on the straights of a circuit somewhere, you really shouldn't do it without changing to a custom tailshaft or XR tailshaft. Just accept that 180 is f**k fast enough.

Indeed, it is there for a reason.
The only reason I'd like to get rid of mine is if I get the car running right and would like to take it to the salt lakes. That would include an XR tail shaft so I didn't die!

Chiptorque will do it.
They did it on my car for racing at Phillip Island. But there is no need on a road car.

wrong, at 200KMS an hour your tailshaft will be spinning faster than ever, one slight bump, enough to create a wobble in it, and suddenly you have a VERY unbalance fast spinning object of doom. which wont hesitate to do bad things.

get an xr ecu like i did. i haven't tested it yet, and don't intend to until i get an xr tailshaft.
btw does anyone know the difference between xr and normal tailshaft? is it alloy instead of iron?

I believe so. Less weight = Less spinning pole of death. Or something.
