Hey, I have recently come into owning a 1995 EF falcon, and was just wondering what would be the beeest type of sports muffler to install on my car, since i want it to have a LOUD note and lots of style ie FAT and SHINY :D since i am still at skool i am limted to about $250, so if anyone can help, what would be the best pick for my 6 cylinder?
thankz guys :?: [/b]

Mate, if you shop around you should be able tog et a cat back sports exhaust for $150.00 to $200.

Now that's a real basic system, probably press bends (but for 200 you might score mandrell), and only one straight through muffler (make sure you get a straight through muffler). Since you want it loud you don't need a resinator and that'll cut down costs. And you'll have to pay extra if you need new mounts, gaskets or want an exhaust tip!

Shop around, but you should be happy with 250. Obviously more is better and will get you better gear...

They get louder as the carbon builds up in them. Think it's for the first 10,00km's or something.
But, $400, that's huge! I got my Lukey mandrell bent for $150! Plus an extra $40 for a lukey resinator, and a bit more as I had all the mounts and gaskets replaced!

They still sound good with them, just not as loud. And there's no point getting the resinator taken out, jsut buy a system that doesn't include one! That way your not paying for a resinator you don't want!
