well for starters its not reground so its going to set u back ALOT more than the alted ones.

cant really tell you how they would compare. if someone has the specs on the alted stage 1, that woulf help.

specs on Crow Stage 3 are:

VALVE TIMING: IN.24/66 EX.62/20

DUR: IN.270 / EX.263

.075" DUR.: IN.210 / EX.200

VALVE LIFT: IN..493" / EX..472"

POWER RANGE: 1100-4400

That wouldn't even really need springs...

Looks to me like you got the 2222549 camshaft, which actually has 0.528" and 0.500" lift. You quoted the lift numbers from the stage 2 version. Not sure if you need stronger springs with it. Mine's being done with a stage 3 Crow cam, but I'm not touching the springs. CM performance said it was fine, so I'm sorta hangin' off their words.

It is the stage 3 one, or in Crow language: "medium performance". Mild performance is more like stage 2ish.

As far as the springs go, I'll just try it and find out. I don't think it take much to change the springs if necessary anyway.
