Looks to me like you got the 2222549 camshaft, which actually has 0.528" and 0.500" lift. You quoted the lift numbers from the stage 2 version. Not sure if you need stronger springs with it. Mine's being done with a stage 3 Crow cam, but I'm not touching the springs. CM performance said it was fine, so I'm sorta hangin' off their words.

Yeah that should also be fine.

wasnt to sure about the springs so we went and talked to a specialist and he told us to fit new springs with it. then asked the guy at crow and he also said the cam needs springs and improved exhaust

It is the stage 3 one, or in Crow language: "medium performance". Mild performance is more like stage 2ish.
As far as the springs go, I'll just try it and find out. I don't think it take much to change the springs if necessary anyway. |
