hey i got an el and i need to change the starter motor. i can only get one screw off which is the one near the passager side. how do i get access to the other screw as i cannot see it or get to it.

Ha ha.. sorry, I had the exact same problem, and after one hour trying to get it off with a normal spanner, I took it to the autoelec, and just got him to do it. You need like a weird shaped spanner, and even then it's a pain in the a***.

I used a socket with a small extension, its a pain in the a** to get to you just have to feel your way around.

you don't need any special tools, just get under there and feel for the other bolt. Its there and its a b**ch to get to but.

drop the back back tranny mounts and tilt the engine a little. it will give you a bit more access.
