Now that I have the fairlane to take to work, the old EF sleeps for 5 days in the garage.. Dont start it, or even look at it. 50% of the time when I go to start it, the battery is dead, other 50% it will barely start, Im gather its obviously my battery or alternator?

Another thing.. 40% of the time (usually on hot days) when I goto start my car I turn the key and nothing, no click or anything, if I hold the key in the on position and tap the top of my dash it will start.. any ideas? found this out by punching it in fury that it wouldent start LOL

Sometimes when I get in and turn the key fast I get nothing similar to what you mentioned, I have to turn the ket back to off position and try again and it'll fire away perfect. Might be something to do with smartlock???

yep if it doesn't start then u "punch" the dash and magically it works, it is a prob with your BEM. Have a look under the dash on drivers side to the left of sterring wheel, u will see a box there, that is your BEM
