My mate owns a stock ef falcon and apparently last night went to jump start it because it had a flat battery, and apparently he screwed up the connections and put nuetral to positive the d***head!! He said sparks came off the terminal, and when he went to re connect it (properly this time) but all the car does now is turn over, it won't start, it's getting fuel because I can hear the fuel pump ingage when the ignition turns on so I'm guessing it has a spark problem? What is likely to of stuffed up?

If it hasn't blown, try taking out the crt lamp fuse for about 10 secs and put it back in. Or take the pos battery lead off.. A mate did it to my xg by accident, it'd crank and get fuel, but no spark. My guess is maybe a protection circuit in the ecu kicks in?
