rule out the ABS by removing the relay, go for a drive then you will know its your rotors.

That's a good find  as said all the slots in the rotors do is take away the fireband, a good performance upgrade.

Just a quick point - I have been through heaps of front rotors (must have a heavy braking foot, and a car weighing over 2 tonne most of the time...) Ahem.

Have not had a single problem with the dreaded warped disk shake since going ZONELLI SLOTTED and DIMPLED. Cost $350NZ, but what the hell, does my piece of mind when hitting the anchors a world of good.

Know a guy with an AU Ute who gets his front disks machined every time he goes for a warrant of fitness check... Sheeez, go buy some expensive slotted and dimpled bro... Beats $50 every six months and having a shaking peddle in between times...

Had a front wheel shudder around 100km/h or above, which went away at 100mph... This turned out to be a tyre issue that was not a flat spot, but tyre had somehow spread on the rim in one spot (maybe rim was involved in high speed curbing by missus or something?)...

Anyways, this defect also meant a slight pulsing feeling when applying brake too. Thought it was wheel alignment, loose bearings, disks issues, steering looseness, all sorts. It was a defect in rim that must have happened since last fitting, balancing and alignment...

[we now return you to your normal programming]

i had a set of rda rotors that were warped out of the box..
after returning them with a small argument with the spare parts store.

i then replaced them with dba's and these were 100 times better...

AHHHHHHH BUGGER!

Stomped on the brake today at about 100km/h and got a shudder! Bugger bugger bugger. 15,000 km or thereabouts of shudder free braking and now shuddering again. Bugger bugger bugger... Damn Ford and their pethetically small front rotors!

As I say, if your a conservitive old f@rt (just general people, take my dad for instance), who like my dad, don't speed, and like to save their fuel, and drive with a old hat on, go for the standard rotor's [quote]

The ZONELLI SLOTTED AND DIMPLED still get my recommendation. They are just the best things ever... I used them hard enough to move the auto transmission from the back of the wagon into the back seats today... Thankfully the auto in the boot is was more secure than I thought it was, as this didn't actually eventuate, but would have easily. Honestly.... Those damn brakes are good - which probably explains a little of why I *DON'T DRIVE LIKE A GRANDAD*... Coz I don't have to.

Now the car handles better and does zero to 80 in about 100m, I don't see the point in saving $1 of petrol every trip... Just as happy hearing that motor and getting excited by the ticky noise as you apply brakes as turning into a corner... Shhezzz, the 18 year old hoon is coming back...

With that "GRANDAD" bit, I only say that because not only is my dad a f**k tight a** with money, he's a tight a** with fuel . In which I don't give a f**k about fuel, if I use it, then I use it, WHO CARES???????
