I just had a wheel alignment done today, and now I'm getting excessive amounts of vibration in the steering wheel.

Could this be from it not being done right, or maybe something else has caused it?

front wheels could be out of balance.

Id say they have removed the weights or moved them and the wheels are out of balance

I'll just take it back in and get them to have a squiz at it.

At a guess I'd say the tyres were rotated from front to back with the allignment and need to be ballanced. Maybe the front tyres had some uneven wear on them which makes it awkward for a true allignment, but you definatly need to rebalance your front wheels.

They were brand new tires 2 weeks ago.

Turns out one of the wheel nuts had been crossed threaded, and the front tyres were 30g out also...

Getting new wheel stud on tomorrow. If they doesn't help, I'll have to get the steering checked, unless something is causing this issue? I'm doing 0-80 with nothing, but once I get over 80 it's like I'm holding a turbo charged vibrator in my hands lol
