was drivin along tonight..and all of a sudden my cluster and (i think) the instruments around it all got significantly brighter! almost as if i had replaced all the globes? i had my headlights on aswell as it was dark if this would help narrow down the cause? i doubt it would be bad thing but would just like to know why/how this has happened! thanks for any help

Did headlights also fluctuate?
Any recent electrical mods? New/old battery? Alternator? Bad earth?

i swapped over the battery about..3-4months ago. have disconnected the battery a few times when ive changed things with my stereo but last time i did that was about 3 weeks ago.. my cluster has never been this bright before either..another thing is that i guess the backlight for the clock thing has also gone..this was about 2-3 weeks ago

Umm, you didn't happen to accidently flick the switch for dashboard light brightness (around the headlight switch) did you?
Or manage to break this switch into it's "bright" position somehow? |
