Hey guys,

Having issues with my exhaust and have been for some time. When I give it the boot I get a strange noise coming from exhaust. It sounds very similar to the induction sound you get at a pod only much louder and out the exhaust.

Wasnt happening before I had twin tips on but Ive seen tons of Au's that dont have this sound with twin tips so I reckon they simply amplify it. Also swapped out main muffler from a hooker aerochamber to a glass pack as the exhaust guy reckoned that might have been the cause, but it wasnt.

Its not an issue during winter as i cant hear it with windows up but coming into summer id prefer to fix it.

Camera I have isnt good enough quality to hear the noise, mainly just gets distortion, so getting a video is hard.

Anyone had this issue before?

Got Ph4480's, high flow 200 cpsi metal cat an 2.5" system with 2 mufflers (not a really loud system)

Probably find it's from the pacemakers, sounds like what you have Is a nice flowing exhaust

Thats s**t if it true I hate the sound.

Anyone else with PH4480's and twin tips have this issue?

How long have you had the system installed?
Enough time for the carbon to build up on the inside?

are the twin tips rolled?, if they are, air scoops inside the rolled parts and makes a weird noise sort of a puffing noise.

System has been on for 18 months so yeah heaps of time but the pacies were second hand anyway so they already had it.

The tips are rolled so we tried non rolled tips (which look s**t) but it still did the exact same thing.
