Guys I am sick of tired of the Auto. i miss my 5 speed, and wishing I did not buy the auto! Great Car cannot fault it though- apart from it being auto :-)

Late 95 EF2 Ghia Burgandy- Full Moccha leather,Full Tickford pack (inc wheel's) stock as no mods at all. Goe's like a cracker. Just clicked over 200,000

I am wanting either to swap it for a decent MANUAL EF on XR6 OR Someone who wants an AUTO BOX, WITH tickford ecu? to swap their 5 speed+ ecu

Nothing wrong with it- even if i can get a conversion I'm happy!

I would also be up for the offer of changing my EF ghia 5.o to manual, so if anyone wants a v8 auto(kitted) and wants to swap a manual box let me know.

Anyone at all interested?

mate ur best of looking for a 5speed conversion kit, and converting it yourself. i just did and it was the best thing i ever done

don't think many people would swap a manual for auto..

If I had a spare k or so, this maybe an option!
Funnily I've seen it happen, alot of people cannot warm to the e series 5spd..probably coz of the clutch action :-) But i can deal with that..

any takers put your hand up

i converted my el to manual... and back to auto 6 months later. still the only manual i never could get comfortable driving... nothing felt right or was in the right place! i was quite disappointed... ive had cars with heavy clutches before that were more comfortable than the el.

same here, i converted mine back to auto 1 year after converting to manual. Ended up swapping for a f**k condition auto, but nevertheless it still feels nicer to drive than the manual.... not as fast though :(
