Hey all,

After I do my 5th and last burnout at wsid, either this week or next week depending on the weather, Im returning my car to stock as to sell it, ive already got a standard exhaust, but my diff is minispooled and was wondering if anyone wanted to swap it for a standard open wheeler diff. my ratio is 3:07 or 3:08. what ever the exact number is.

Also ive got the shift kit I made which will be going to.

lol. Minispools and streets are funny. How does it go, in a straight line awesome... but with corners can be tricky, especially on the tyres.

Ive had a minispool in mine for a little while. You get used to it.

If you wanted to go minispool this is obviously a good grab.

Cheers

ps - good luck at wsid, hope it doesn't rain tomorrow....

Maybe post up in the forsale forum (saying it's to swap of course)
You might have more luck finding someone.

Lesson learned, keep you stock parts if you ever plan to sell :)

I was gonna keep my stock open centre parts, until we grinded those f**k out of there.... b**ch of a thing when the pins are shattered from hitting gutters sideways

Anyway, if you know the commode VN spline count I may have someone who's interested. If the VN's are 28 Spline ofcourse. was it just the non-turbo Vls that had 25 spline axels?

Cheers

Arent mini spools illegal tho ?
Even if you were used to it wouldnt you absolutely CHEW the tires ?

I mean i'd be up for a swap just for the accel gain, if I could be assured that the tires wouldnt be absolutely rooted every 2 weeks (Getting 18's in 2 months im not up for $250 a fortnight to replace tires)

lol, mini spooled taxi. AUII had IRS? or was that the later models and AUIII's?

Tyre wear just driving isn't bad, but we all know why the minispool goes in, and lol for the same reason tyres do become an issue. Not THAT bad driving around.

Cheers

The fortes S packs and futuras had live axles. The ghias and XR's had IRS. I think the AU diff is a bit wider than the E series diff but the centers are the same. Imagine the look on peoples faces when the rear end starts to skip when going around slow tight corners. An old codger would freak out with fear and make an instant complaint to the DOT while a young rev head would be egging me on to chalk it up out of every corner. :P
