im puting a 3.23-1 LSD from a eb2 into my i6 xf and i was wondering is the eb2 tail shaft the same length as the xf one and can i use it

pretty sute the XF mounts the UJ with U bolts where as the EB uses a flange and 4 bolts, also the bearings may be different EB has snap rings on the outer of the bearings and XF on the inner.

so if i have eb gear box and eb diff it will work?

and an eb drive shaft yeah it will work, if u have probs it will be easier and cheaper to get one from a wreckers. make sure its out of the same type of car as urs eg:automatic sedan. utes and wagons have a longer wheel base.
