Does anyone have any advice on how to fix that damn annoying tappetty noise that all Alloy-headed 250 crossflow motors seem to develop? Ive heard everything from sticky lifters...to having to replace the whole valvetrain and recondition the head...to simply tightening up the tappets! Please help!!!

Thanx for that suggestion...will give it a go! Another question...is it true the lifters can be replaced without removing the head (and therefore all the ather annoying bits!)?
