Hey all, im bored :D

So im jumping on the band wagon and am showing what ive done to my Tickford EL XR6

I bought the car march 2003, and at the time had the wheels that are still on it, 2.5" Walker (now called Lukey) and tint. Looked nice and tidy. i promised myself at the time that all i was going to do to it was put a cheep set of extractors on it and leave it as is...

From a stock 215fwhp, it aint a bad car form factory. Now with 315fwhp with some mods, its way more exciting to drive :D

ImageImage

The main go fast bits that were used were a custom intake manifold with twin E-Series 61mm thrott's, a custom ground cam done by Sure Cam and a EMS 8860 ecu to run it all. So basicaly i blew my promise when i got the car

With this setup, response is instant, power/tourque is on tap and fuel ecco aint too bad
Not bad for a N/A taxi anyway, and shocks some ppl from the lights too. Along way off being "quick" but isnt too bad on the street.
Has not been down the 1/4 in about a year, but last run was 14.62, but should be a mid to low 14 now *fingers crossed

The exhaust is something cool that i havent seen on a late model falcon yet, it dumps before the diff :D gives it a nice note ;)

The suspension has also been upgrded with Koni's and king springs. Also bushed up with Nolathane and next on the list is a F/R Whiteline sway bar's. For its weight it handles good and it should running on P-Zeros (235/45/17). It runs DBA cross drilled/slotted disc's up front to give it more "Woahh!!"

The alloy tail shaft i had ballanced dus to im scared that it will break at high RPM, bloody falcon one piece shafts
the gear box an diff have never been opend, even tho the box needs a rebuild asap(T5). With a HD clutch, is good on the street and still driveable in carparks ect...

Along with a nice stereo and some body/interior styling (IMO) it looks n sounds ok.
Ive done most of the work myself, its not that hard to figure out s**t, just gotta read stuff and ask questions.

The next step is a nice lil turbo set-up which is under planing atm (400rwhp, still streetable but quick)

Image
With a GT35/40 and FMIC should be sweet :D

If all your work comes out looking as good as that twin throttle set up then thats motervation enough to put a great fat turbo and more chrome piping everywhere. Top job mate . :D
Ps. can you make some more for the rest of us invalids

cool looking car mate.
i've been trying to work out what the red sticker is on the drivers door then relised its a reflection of someones jumper lol.
personally i think that the bonnet scoop would look better with one being a vent. but that's just individual taste
aside from that that really is a wicked looking rid! and i hope my wagon matchs that sorta quality work in another year!
tiop job and well done!
