You can use holymor spray if you want, it is not necessary tho.

I recall 90 newton metres + 120 degrees rotation, someone correct me if Im wrong.

Ford AU Specs:
30nm + 120 degrees is correct.

JMM Specs (AU Gasket)
Stage 1 40nm
Stage 2 80nm
Stage 3 110nm

I used the 3 pass, no problems yet.

I also used the 30+120deg 6 months ago in a mates car, again no issues

Technically the 30nm + 120deg is a better method.

No need for holomar as the gasket has its own bonding agents.

But I have never heard of any damage using it otherwise.

Isn't it more like 30Nm.

You'd be snapping bolts at that tension.

i think he may be right.

e series gasket was 45n + 90* and AU gasket was 30nm + 120* IIRC

I'm always right... Its an inbuilt trait.

But really, it dont matter if you use the 40Nm + 90* or 30Nm + 120*, you will end up with the same torque setting.

The torque settings are not gasket/engine specific. It's just that the 30Nm + 120* would be more accurate in the end.
